Polyamide-imide (PAI)

Polyamide-imide (PAI) is an amorphous thermoplastic with high strength and stiffness and it can maintain its mechanical properties up to temperature of 260ºC. The material have outstanding resistance to abrasion wear, creeping, and strong acids. Unfilled grade of polyamide-imide has very good flame and radiation resistance properties, also with very low smoke emission when burning. With additive such as solid lubricant, carbon and glass bead added can further improve its application performance, but be aware that this material have relatively higher moisture absorption, it may swell slightly in high humility environment.
