Polyamide (PA)

Polyamide (PA) is a synthetic polymer made from amino and carboxylic acid . A typical example of a polyamide in engineering plastic product were such as nylon 6 , nylon 66 ....etc This material has good dimensional stability, fair chemical resistance, good wear resistant and toughness, its properties can be further improved by adding additive. The disadvantage being higher moisture absorption, not resistance to oxidizing agent and high notch sensitivity.
