PolyPropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystallize thermoplastic composed from polymerization of propylene gas in presence of catalysts. Its properties vary according to molecular weight or method of production, and the molecular structure; such as homo-polymer polypropylene or Random co-polymer or Co-polymer polypropylene. In General PP has excellent dielectric properties, lighter weight, high resistant to alkalis, acids, organic solvent, degreasing agents and resistance to electrolytic agents. It also have very strong resistance towards stress cracking, but it have less resistance to aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents as well as UV radiation.
